I'm a liar
I hide behind a mask of lies and deception
I trick people with fake smiles
Phoney compliments
And false promises

Behind that unpenetratable facade
Is a person much more different
A person that doesn't like your jokes
A person that holds no remorse for hurting people's feelings

I pretend to be your friend
I make you feel safe with me
I make you trust me
Believe in me

And you find yourself caught in my trap

You think I'm cruel
A shallow
Heartless monster
Misleading people
In a horrible way

You're wrong...

People are just easily fooled
They are like pawns in my hands
Unsuspecting victims of my game
Gullible instruments
Used for my entertainment

I'm a liar

Footprint in the Sand Everyone that passes by me
Is like a footprint in the sand

It lingers for a moment,
But still fades away

Never to be seen again…

Here am I, on the side of the road waiting for the light to turn green. Maybe the cold makes me inpatient or the fact that I'm tired. I look at the people around me. I can see the red light reflecting in their eyes. At this moment all of their eyes are set on one spot. All of their minds are occupied by the same thought. At this moment all are one. It's like they're in a trance.

Bulgaria

I think it’s time I updated this…

Well, my name’s Ellie. I’m 17 and I inhabit a city in Bulgaria (a country you’ve probably never heard of), called Dobrich (a city you’ve most likely never heard of)
Though I’m Bulgarian my favorite subject is English and I’ve always enjoyed speaking it. Other languages I know are German and Russian.

I enjoy reading a good book preferably somewhere outdoors. I love buying books which I put in my non-existent bookcase.

My musical preferences vary from time to time. I listen mostly to rock, alternative and punk.

For lack of interesting things to say I’ll end with some random stuff:

My least favorite sport is golf. I read manga and watch anime. I don’t play any musical instruments [though when I was little I practiced playing the harmonica], but I’d like to learn how to play the guitar or some very weird instrument. I'd like to someday open a bookstore like Shakespeare & Co. I collect random stuff which drives my mother crazy. My favorite flowers are sunflowers and tulips, I find roses trite. I love rainy days, as long as they don’t interfere with my plans.

A late DA Birthday!

Soo I missed my DA birthday...again...It's been two great years, though it feels like I've just joined. I haven't submitted as much as I used to, but inspiration will one day come to me.
I remember when little over 4 years ago, I came here by accident. I remember that the first gallery I browsed was *kmye-chan's and I really liked her drawings. Actually I've never said that to her, so now I will...I decided to draw one myself, using one of her pieces as reference and of course I failed miserably. Arts wasn't so important in school, so I've never developed my drawing "skills". At that time I didn't know there was such thing as a literature category. Even if I did, I wouldn't have imagined that I would start writing. So because of the lack of drawing skills I decided this was no place for me. I browsed for a while just to look at the artwork.
2 years ago I tried writing and this is what came out: [link] And I thought "Why don't I post this then?" and I created an account (the user name was just the first thing that came up in my head).At first I was afraid that as an unexperienced writer I would be flamed to death, but I actually got positive responses! And it made me very happy.

Let's see the stats! Even though it says that this user doesn't care about pageviews, would you mind if I check it once?
